The National Federation of Pencak Silat Kenya (NAFPESIK) is beaming with gratitude and pride as we celebrate a historic milestone: the International Pencak Silat Federation (Persilat) has chosen Kenya as a regional hub for the art.
This recognition affirms the dedication of our athletes, coaches, and administrators, and it places Kenyan Pencak Silat on the global map. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Nairobi, whose diplomatic support has been instrumental, and to our corporate partners—Clat Indonesia and Indo‑Mie Kenya—whose sponsorship and advocacy have helped bring the spirit of Silat to every corner of the country.

Together, these allies have not only elevated NAFPESIK’s stature but have also amplified the image of Pencak Silat to a wider audience. Schools, community centers, and sports clubs now see a surge of interest, especially among the youth, who are eager to learn the discipline, respect, and artistry that Silat embodies.
The growing number of practitioners is a testament to the collective effort that has turned a traditional martial art into a vibrant, home‑grown movement.

As we open new doors for local and international partners, we remain humbled by the overwhelming support that has made this achievement possible.

May Allah bless each of you for your unwavering commitment, and may the journey ahead be filled with even greater successes for Pencak Silat in Kenya and beyond.
